How it works

Approved medical transport in 3 steps.

01

Your prescription

Your doctor issues a medical transport prescription (known in France as a « bon de transport ») suited to your state of health.

02

You book

A phone call or the form is all it takes: date, addresses and type of care. No booking is confirmed until one of our drivers has first confirmed it with you by phone.

03

We take you there

The driver picks you up at home and takes you all the way to your healthcare facility.

Whether French health insurance (Assurance Maladie) covers the cost depends on your prescription and your situation. We guide you and carry out your journeys in line with the applicable regulations.

How much does your journey cost?

Two different frameworks, two different rate scales. Whether or not your transport is prescribed makes all the difference.

Frequently asked questions

What we are asked most often.

Which types of transport do you provide?

Five areas. Approved seated medical transport: dialysis, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, consultations, medical tests, hospital admission and discharge. Rounds for healthcare professionals and laboratories. Transfers to train stations and the airport. Business travel on account. And express courier for documents and parcels.

Each area has its own page, with full details of the service and its own request form.

Can I use your service without a medical prescription?

Yes. Approved medical transport is only part of what we do. Without a prescription, we work as a standard taxi at the regulated rates set by prefectoral order: train station, airport, business trips and personal journeys.

A prescription changes neither the vehicle nor the driver. It changes the rate scale and how you pay, since it opens up coverage by French health insurance. See both rate scales.

Which towns do you cover?

Nantes and the towns of the metropolitan area: Saint-Herblain, Rezé, Orvault, Vertou, Carquefou, Bouguenais, Couëron, Saint-Sébastien-sur-Loire, La Chapelle-sur-Erdre and Sainte-Luce-sur-Loire, as well as the whole of Loire-Atlantique.

We also provide long-distance journeys to specialist facilities outside the département.

How can I contact you to book?

Three ways, whichever suits you. By phone on +33 6 37 36 48 20, our direct line, 7 days a week. Using the form on this page, which asks for the same information. Or via WhatsApp, handy for sending us a photo of your transport prescription.

Whichever you choose, we confirm the booking and the agreed pick-up time with you.

How much does a journey cost?

It depends on the framework. Without a prescription, fares follow the prefectoral order and are the same for every taxi in Loire-Atlantique. With a prescription, French health insurance (Assurance Maladie) covers the cost, generally 55%, and 100% for long-term illness, workplace accidents or maternity.

Both rate scales are detailed and dated above, with a link to the official information on ameli.fr. Only your Assurance Maladie fund can decide on your entitlement.

Do you handle emergencies and stretcher transport?

No. We provide seated transport only. We do not provide stretcher transport, emergency medical transport or medical supervision during the journey.

In a life-threatening emergency, call 15 (SAMU, French emergency medical service) or 112.
